The January Contest Winner Is...

It's obvious that idea of winning a bottle of rum has more appeal than winning a piece of pottery.  We had less participation this time... we may need to pick up another bottle of Bajan liquid sunshine.  Hmmm

Thanks to everyone who entered the contest.  There were 8 participants with correct entries and one who was looking through a fish bowl and not surfing at the Soup Bowl.

The correct answers are:-

Part One - Flying Fish

Part Two - The Soul Bowl

The names of all participants who submitted the correct answer were transcribed onto individual ballots.  These ballots were then placed into John's toque and one drawn by one of our contest officials, also known to be Stratford Shakespeare Festival Carpenters.

And the winner is....
Heather Sanderson of Ottawa.  Congratulations!!!

We're back...

We're back from a great 9 days in Barbados and being on the ground seeing the build for ourselves.  We had a whirlwind time of selecting and purchasing everything from tiles to drawer pulls.  We're loving the process... the pictures speak for themselves...

Just off Air Canada and can't believe it!!

Now THAT'S a boom truck!!

Hmmm, this could lead to a design change.

Who needs a roof with a sky like that??

What a view...

And the winner is...

Thanks to everyone who entered the contest.  There were 12 participants with correct entries and one who danced on the wrong dead man’s chest.

The correct answer to the question is Samuel Hall Lord, commonly known as Sam Lord.

The names of all participants who submitted the correct answer were transcribed onto individual ballots.  These ballots were then placed into the hoody of one of our contest officials.  To ensure anonymity and complete fairness, the winning entry was pulled by the contest master, who donned a welding mask as a further control measure in this blind and completely impartial draw.

So it’s yo ho ho and a bottle of rum to Bill and Sue Little of Stratford.   Congratulations!!

Look for more contests in the coming weeks with prizes direct from Barbados.
